So, i’ve been busy with the publisher, worldbuilding stuff and a lot of design for Overtaken!
Nothing finished, but i wanted to share a part of our process here. I’m working on a design for Eporas, specifically the architecture and method of making the pillars that support so much of it.

Often i start with writing and sketches, which i follow with 3D mockups, until we finally decide upon a painting to make. I’ve collected some work in progress images to show some of the parts of the design, while keeping the rejected iterations out of it for the sake of a readable image.

I’ve gone for a the construction of a reusable mold, which they use to pour larger than life statues from an amber coloured resin that illuminates the noble Eporian people that built up the city. (cities, i guess) It should glorify the Eporians, all Eporians as the people who have built and thus own the city. (in a sense.)
